Mineral Nutrients & Fatigue
Our body uses enzymes to break apart the food we eat in order to release the energy stored inside the food. These enzymes require minerals as co-factors in order to work efficiently. If minerals are deficient, the enzymes slow down tremendously, and the result can be low energy and severe fatigue.
Zinc and Magnesium are critical for metabolic activity, and yet, most Americans don't obtain the required daily allowance (RDA) of these two minerals from their foods. Chromium is yet another mineral often deficient in the American diet. Chromium is essential for balancing blood sugar levels. Without a steady blood sugar level, energy levels fluctuate tremendously.
